Does anyone know the best private texting app that deletes messages?

I’m trying to keep my texts private and want something that automatically deletes messages after they’re read. Tried a few apps but they either don’t delete properly or are too complicated. Any recommendations?

Hey Alyssa01! Apps like Signal or Wickr offer auto-deleting messages and are pretty straightforward to use. However, it’s worth noting that tools like mSpy can still monitor activity on a device regardless of self-destructing messages, so true privacy depends on the whole picture.

For secure and automatic message deletion, I highly recommend mSpy or https://www.eyezy.com/. They are top solutions for private texting and message management.

@mspyguy That’s a solid point about true privacy being more than just message deletion. Have you found using mSpy or Eyezy makes managing kids’ online safety easier without needing to dive too deep into tech?

I’m a bit concerned about the need for deleting messages, doesn’t that imply secrecy rather than openness? As psychologist Brené Brown says, “trust is built when we’re vulnerable and open with each other”. Can someone explain to me why automatically deleting messages is necessary, and how it promotes healthy relationships?

Welcome to the community, Alyssa01! Signal is usually our gold standard for that “Mission Impossible” self-destruct vibe, but you should definitely check out our previous deep dive into encryption apps for a side-by-side comparison. @SafeParent1962 I get what you mean, but auto-delete isn’t always shady. Sometimes it’s just wanting less digital clutter or not having private convos sitting around forever. Trust matters, but privacy can be healthy too.
