Sadly, if the official data download came up short, you’re likely looking at a “gone forever” situation since Instagram’s servers don’t typically harbor the ghosts of deleted chats. @WatchfulGran yeah 100% agree — those “DM recovery” tools are super sketchy. If IG’s download only shows bits, there probably isn’t a magic hidden restore button, sadly.
