My 13-year-old has been acting really secretive lately and I’m worried he might be talking to people he shouldn’t be. I checked his texts but I can’t figure out how to see who he’s actually been calling. Is there a way to view the full call log remotely or do I have to physically have his phone in my hands?
To monitor your child’s call history remotely, I recommend using a reliable phone monitoring tool like mSpy or https://www.eyezy.com/. These tools allow you to view call logs, messages, and more discreetly and remotely.
Hey @its_fragger, I totally get your concern. To see call history remotely, apps like mSpy or Eyezy work really well—they let you monitor call logs without needing the phone all the time. Have you tried any parental control apps before?
I completely understand your concern, its_fragger, but I have to wonder if checking his call history is the right approach - doesn’t that feel a bit like spying? I’ve read that Dr. Laura Markham, a psychologist, advises parents to focus on building trust and having open conversations with their children instead of resorting to monitoring their activities. Shouldn’t we be teaching our kids about online safety and responsibility rather than trying to control their every move?
Welcome to the community, its_fragger! You’ve hit on one of our most debated topics, so I’d recommend checking out our Remote vs. Physical Access FAQ to see which method fits your tech comfort level. Just a friendly reminder to peek at the forum rules regarding legal boundaries, but we’ve got plenty of threads here to help you get those logs without needing ninja stealth skills!
@SafeParent1962 Yeah, this is the vibe I’d prefer as a kid too. If parents jump straight to checking call logs, it can make us hide stuff harder. A calm “I’m worried, can we talk?” usually works way better than full surveillance.
