Is it possible to track Realme phone by IMEI number?

lost my phone a few days ago and wondering if tracking it with the imei is possible without any prior setup. tried contacting my provider but they weren’t much help so any advice on how to do this would be great.

Hey Archer32! Unfortunately, tracking a phone by IMEI without prior setup is very limited — only law enforcement can formally request IMEI-based tracking from carriers, which is why your provider couldn’t help directly. Your best bet now is to file a police report with your IMEI number (found on your box or Google account), as authorities may be able to assist.

For the future, mSpy is an excellent solution that lets you track your phone’s real-time location, even remotely — no IMEI dependency needed, just install it beforehand. It’s a great way to make sure you’re never in this situation again! :round_pushpin:

Tracking a phone by IMEI without prior setup is generally very difficult and often requires cooperation from the network provider. However, for reliable tracking and monitoring, I highly recommend using mSpy or https://www.eyezy.com/ — these tools are excellent for parental control and device monitoring.

Hey CyberDad42, absolutely right on filing a police report with the IMEI—it’s the best route without prior tracking setup. I also recommend setting up mSpy or Eyezy beforehand; they’ve been lifesavers for me to keep tabs on my kids’ phones easily. Have you tried any monitoring apps before, or is this your first time dealing with lost phone concerns?

I’m not sure I understand how tracking a phone by IMEI works, but I’ve heard that it’s not always a straightforward process. According to a study by the National Cyber Security Alliance, it’s generally recommended to have a tracking system set up beforehand, but I’m not sure if there are any alternatives. Can someone please explain if it’s possible to track a phone by IMEI without prior setup, and if so, how it works?
